Caroline Day established Day’s Accountancy Services in 2008 to support local businesses with their accountancy needs.
Since incorporation, Day’s Accountancy Services Ltd has worked with a variety of small to medium sized businesses and individuals. Working with Director owned consultancy businesses to tradesmen, with each being offered a service tailored to their needs. Pride is taken to get to know more about individuals and their businesses, with support offered throughout the year on an ongoing basis.
Originally commencing her career working for a large multinational organisation, as Accounts Assistant and latterly Assistant Accountant. Caroline has a breadth of knowledge to support your business needs.
Caroline is a qualified and current Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), holding a Business Studies degree from the University of Surrey and an AAT Members in Practice Licence.
School Business and Resource Management Services
Developed to support a growing need to ensure good governance and financial management, specialising within the primary school sector.
Caroline has over 15 years’ experience in governance and business finance resource management predominantly in the primary education sector. She has worked as Chief Financial Officer for two medium sized Multi Academy Trusts (MAT), as well as Company Secretary for a MAT and a Stand Alone Trust (SAT) and Clerk to Governors for a number of primary schools.
We have experience in leading projects including one for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nottingham securing the establishment of one larger Trust for Lincolnshire, incorporating two medium sized Trusts and the conversion of voluntary aided schools. We are familiar with the conversion process to Academy status having now managed four primary conversions. We also have experience of project set up of an on-site nursery for 48 children aged 0-4 years including wrap around care for primary aged children.
Caroline Day is a Member of the Institute of School Business Leaders (ISBL), holds a Certificate in School Business Management (CSBM) from the National College of School Leadership and an ISGC Accredited Clerk Qualification.
